We Three Kings is a collaborative map building festive game inspired by The Blackpool Illuminations; art-dice games; various justified and ancient kids TV shows where the characters have magic crayons, paints, or chalks; and the recent hate crimes of painting over of Rainbow Zebra Crossings.

 

In this GMless game for 3 (or more) players, you take the roll of three (or more) drag kings (or queens) trying to get across town to perform your festive show at The Starlight Theatre.


 

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FOLLOW THE STAR!

  

But there's a problem – the authorities have painted over all the rainbow crossings in the city and that means that nobody can cross the roads safely at all to get across town!

  

  

BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

  

 

Luckily, your characters have a trick up their sleeves – you all possess the magic of creativity in your soul and this magic will help you (and all your adoring fans) to get across town safely in time for the festive show.

GAME SAFE
This is a feel-good, light-hearted festive game, the only CW is that some of the people you encounter in a positive way will be homeless, SWs, charity workers, carol singers, and people living in adverse circumstances so just have a read through before you play to make sure none of those encounters would be triggering / upsetting for you.

Even with a light-hearted game, things can crop up that feel uncomfortable so be sure to have a session zero to set Lines and Veils before the game begins. The game is inspired by the 'Three Kings' story from Christian mythology. and the artwork reflects this with a Christmassy theme, but you can feel free to theme your game around any festive season or celebration you like, depending on what your group finds fun and comfortable.
