You Wish is a solo, play-to-lose horror game based around a single roll of a d6. In this game, you take the role of a knight whose last quest left them broken. The knight is sent to a tower under the impression that the tower is a sanctuary in which they can heal. Instead they find monsters, equally broken and hungry for blood. Monsters who will grant wishes. Wishes which lead to transformation but not necessarily a return to self. The game evokes themes of, and depicts illustrations of, body horror, monster bodies, blood, sacrifice, and demons. The dice mechanics mimic gambling-addiction behaviours by encouraging the player to keep rolling on a hope that is rationally never going to manifest. Please only play if you feel safe & comfortable with these themes and mechanics and please stop at any time if you feel uncomfortable.
